Darling, I didn't mean your butt IS a pancake...it just LOOKS LIKE ONE in those jeans. (-: If I were you I think I'd have to pass...I don't know about you, but I think I would paranoid about my backside every time I wore them. (-:
After sleeping on it, I am voting RETURN because I don't think you have to put up with this. I am sure you can find a different pair of jeans that give you the great front AND back view.
That said, I have now three pair of KFTK jeans. I have to size down one size and get the waist taken in almost 2 inches...and I have a *substantial* booty and "athletic" thighs (just the opposite of you!). So it doesn't surprise me that this brand doesn't fit you very well. I'm with Diana that this brand is great for pear shapes...
I can't suggest brands since we are opposite body shapes...but, I concur with Firecracker that Paige denim is fab and well made...of course I've only tried the cuts that have nice...wide...legs. (-:
