K/R Knit Tunic

Ladies, the photos are not good. So I can retake if you don't think you can see the tunic well enough.

Having tried my regular size on in store and not liking the fit, I ordered the next size up.my concern is that it might be too oversized. But having tried it on again today and looking at the photos I think it might be ok.

But if not, please do tell me.

Also i hope to wear it over my faux leather/sided leggings...is it long enough?

I think it looks good - if you walked around with arms outstretched, you may have a problem, but since you don't... I see no prob

It does not look too oversized to me, Deb. Keep in mind I have a high tolerance for oversize fit. But the drape looks good. I think you can wear it with the leggings, or at least I probably would, at that length. Is there a kind of test you can do....maybe the "bend over" test to see how you feel in leggings and tunic? Also, for me, one reason I've never completely warmed to the tunic and leggings style is with my body shape at least, the tunics often stick to the leggings. So I might do a test to see if the fabrications are compatible.

I really dislike how hard it is to see details in photos of black items...but it looks good to me Deborah.

However playing devils advocate here, do you have other black tunics? Just making sure you're not over duplicating? (Sorry)

I'm not a yay. I think the drape is too straight instead of round and cocoon-esque. The shape and fabric don't seem special and interesting enough for your all-black outfits, Debs. I vote return.

I would like to see more angle or drape (not in size, but in fabric) to make this more modern. This reminds me of how I wore oversized in the 80s, which was truly boxy, and I think your modern style calls for more "interest" in the details. Does that make sense?

I'm not sure about it Deborah. Normally when I look at your outfits, there always something unique or a bit different (I hope that makes sense). To me, the top looks a little plainer than what you normally wear.

Thanks so much for the input ladies. I wasn't completely sure of this for the reasons you have pointed out. Hence the K/R post I think I will return and keep an eye out for something a little more interesting and modern.
