Off topic but I am so impressed about 3 languages and the kids being trilingual, that's wonderful. I did not know you were not originally from where you are living.
Off topic - I did move a bit, lived in 5 different cities in 4 different countries on two different continents. But been here for 12 years already and I think I am settled finally:)
Off topic too, but I couldn't resist a subject dear to my heart. My husband nagged me for six months to start speaking to our newborn daughter in all my languages (not at the same time! :P). I finally did start, and later we learned a fourth language together. Today (age 20) she's not fluent in any but English, but her accent is perfect in all. She can acquire fluency whenever she wants to put in the work, but there's no getting the accent after childhood.
