K/R Jeans and Boots

I'm paranoid that all my pants are too short, so I need some reassurance or tough love with regard to these jeans I just purchased. If they're too short, I'll need to return them and some duplicates.

Also, Jenava told me that I needed taupe booties. Who am I to argue with such a stylish lady? However, I don't really know how to wear light-colored shoes. Can I wear them like this? Any other do's and do-not's?

Amy, these don't look too short to me with these booties. I guess they could be just fractionally longer, so that the fabric almost grazes the ground, but you are pretty close to that, aren't you?

Taupe booties are brilliant! I wear mine with denim, but then I have light hair, so it bookends. With bootcuts, you don't see much of the bootie anyway, so I would wear like that, but if you are wearing skinnies you might want a little something lighter up top in an otherwise dark outfit. They will also look fab with your white trousers.

I think you think lol they are short because you are wearing a low heel bootie. The lower incline of the shoe, makes the tip of the shoe show up more, but I think they are PPL. As far as taupe booties, light colors on top are just the ticket, just as Suz said, with skinnies.

I think the length looks fine, especially if you're like me and your jeans loosen up and ride a little lower as the day goes on!

The taupe boots look nice. I am actually not getting the amount of wear I thought I would from my lighter colored (tan, not taupe) booties I bought last year (fortunately, on a good sale). I will need to look at those styling suggestions. I am getting way more wear out of my darker booties and even my colored ones like the burgundy Pliners. Maybe because I don't wear a lot of brown tones, and the greys and blacks and blues play better with my wardrobe.

Love the fit of those jeans on you Amy and the dark wash is nice - these could definitely be dressed up as well for an evening out. Are they an actual trouser jean?

I think the length is fine with the taupe booties.

Hehe...well, Claire, if they were dragging, I wouldn't be worried they were too short.

Shannon, I don't think I'd classify these as trouser jeans. Aren't trousers loose around the hips and thighs? These appear cut more like jeans, but don't have the contrast top-stitching, which may help them look a little more dressy.

I love them! Can you wear them with your winter white trousers? I wear mine with stone-colored trousers and denim. Mine are dressy, so I also wear them skirts. They are neutral, and bookend your hair, so I think you can pretty much wear them with ANYthing! I'm happy to have given you a good excuse to shop. (-:

Jeans are perfect length, and love the light booties. Was going to say, but you're a blonde, as wellt(so will bookend so easy with your hair:-)why are you asking??) then only saw you were gone for a darker shade, but still-- don't see a problem here!!!:-) Love them as you styled!
