I am not sure how these NYDJ jeans work... are they keep or return? Still to work on some outfitting...

As far as I can tell the jeans look fine and fit well, at least from the front. How do they feel? NYDJ fit me reasonably well but some pairs do seem to make me look blocky below the waist, rather than pleasantly curved.

I've been looking at the current plain dark jeans online and wondering how the more flared one would work on me. I'll be interested in knowing what you decide to do and your reasons for keeping/not keeping.

The general advice for NYDJ is to size down at least one size since they do stretch out. I have found this to be true. Do you feel that these are tight enough? They will grow.

Thank you... I have been popping them on and off for a week trying to decide. They feel fine and I was a bit concerned about how clingy they were near my knee. But when I took photos of my old heavy cotton jeans, I think it looks the same... NYDJ are quite expensive so I guess I was pondering if they were worth the money... I also want these better jeans for an upcoming work trip so I do need to play around with some styling. I have a few tops on their way so will try and style them in the coming week....
I think the styling for the work trip when I need to be with senior work colleagues on days of long haul travelling is perplexing me. I will get some FAB advice once the tops arrive and I can make a decision.

The fit seems fine to me. I'm always more worried about jeans stretching.

Jen: Yes, straight legs are my leggings, too! I'm having a more difficult time this year with too much stretch in the fabrication, and too much constriction near the knee. Wearing them at home for an hour or so will tell you whether they'll give in this area. I don't find NYDJ fitting me well -- although I'm an hourglass, not a rectangle, and I think they suit rectangles and apples best. Love the quality! And I love this shade of denim for your wardrobe!

They look like a good fit. I do find NYDJ a strange fit on me. I am pear shaped and I don't have huge problems finding jeans. I am just picky. I have heard that NYDJ stretch out so be warned.
