What JG said--to me that is an entirely personal choice but it's an issue for me, too, with long feet, in my oxford quests, and adding in the oxford style not being the "least amount of shoe" one can wear.
The rounded toes are not as trending to my eye, but then, rounded toes are much better for my feet, so I'm avoiding true pointy altogether, and also anything too tapered (which I can fit into, and look great but pinch and hurt after a short time), while still trying to get an oval or refined shape if possible, if that makes any sense.
But, there are a lot of boxes to be ticked in finding shoes and for me, the right shade and color, and fit, have been more elusive in the nude colors. And then the whole point of an oxford style for me is that it can be a way to get in some style in a comfortable and walkable shoe, so if that is missing, there is no point (again, for me) as I can find sorta-mostly-comfortable shoes in other styles, but if it's there, then I'm very tempted. Also I think the metallic part + nude is very cool and not very common.
So I think you may have to keep all of the more minor points in perspective, with your larger goals, such as if it's very comfortable and "makes" a lot of your outfits, then there you go.
