I posted about this J Crew Tipped Peacoat being on sale here:
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ed-peacoat
With 30% off the sale price it ends up being 66% off the original price ($132 instead of $298). If anyone's interested, I think the extra 30% off sale price code MUSTHAVE expires tonight!

Anyhow, yesterday I ordered the size 4 online, which is my typical size for J Crew coats (I have a Plaza coat in size 4). I haven't received it yet, but today I went to try it on in the store. I tried on three different sizes--4, 6 and 8. Mainly to double check the size and also to get pics for Zap, since she's interested in the jacket too. I took pics of the jacket buttoned up as well, but I'm not really planning on buttoning the jacket while I'm pregnant because I think it looks kinda funny with my big tummy. It's a little hard to buy stuff when you're pregnant, but I think this jacket is something I could wear for a long time, so in this case I think it's worth it to buy now given the great sale price. So I didn't end up buying any of these in-store because I already have the 4 on the way and it's final sale (the in-store SA confirmed this).

What do you think? Keep or return, and which size--4, 6 or 8? (It's supposed to be final sale, but I chatted with the online rep before ordering and have it in writing that she said I could return the 4 if I ordered it). The J Crew in-store SA said she thought the 4 fit me the best in the shoulders and torso and advised me to get the 4 because she thought it would fit me the best after the baby comes. She said the 6 was too big in the shoulders. I think I agree, the size 6 and 8 may fit me better now but I think they may be too large after I get rid of the baby weight. What do you think?

Oh and by the way, the wool is soft and fuzzy, not itchy at all, and the coat is fully lined. It's a little stiffer and heavier than I thought, more of an outerwear jacket than a blazer. And I would plan to wear it with skinny pants and pencil skirts, not the full skirt I was wearing when I tried it on. Hope these pics help if anyone is interested!

1-5. Size 4 (front, front, side, buttoned, side buttoned)
6-10. Size 6
11-15. Size 8
16. Pic of the lining
