K/R: H&M Faux fur vest & an angora stripe black sweater & kitty on fur

I have not styled these due to time constraints so please use your imagination. Should I keep or return the vest & or the sweater.

I apologize for the detail being hard to see but the sweater is an angora blend with a sheer stripe. I like the way it is wide at the hem to hide any muffin top. I would wear a camisole or something under it, though I didn't do it here as I was rushing to get hubby to take pics while I could.

Given the furry & fuzzy textures I was posting I couldn't resist snapping this one of my kitty on a flokati rug that was draped over a chair.

Both seem to fit you really well, Elle. I'm personally not the biggest fan of this vest, but if you love it, then both are keepers. Oh and the sweet kitty too, of course:-)

Inge I liked the vest in the store mirror & then when I looked at these pics I didn't like it. I am on YLF to do away with clothes that aren't fab so I will see what others say & try it on with more things. Perhaps I should have tried it with more outfits but for the pics I had to nab hubby when I could.

I hear you, Elle. I've had another look, and I can't really pinpoint what's bothering me: I quite like it from the back and the front when it's not closed, something seems a little off when you close it, but this might just be me.

Keep #8 I like both the vest and sweater, but if you can only keep one, I'd keep the vest. The sweater seems very run of the mill, but the vest is quite different in a sea of brown toned fur vests.

I am not going to be much help. I love the description of the sweater but cannot see the details in the pics. If you need a black sweater this one fits you very nicely and sounds like it has some interesting features. I cant decide on the vest. part of me does like it...but that practical voice in me always comes up and says, how often would you wear it? Is it possible to try some other styling when you have time? Love kitty!!

I'm afraid I can't comment unbiased on the vest. I had one a similar colour and every time my Dad saw me in it he baa'd at me I love the sweater x

And I vote keep too. I do prefer the furry vest closed. Gorgeously retro and suits your '70s rocker style.

I love the striped sweater on you Elle - fantastic fit and very versatile!

I also like the fit of the vest on you although I'm not a fan of it being white for some reason.

The vest is great done up (and I'm not a fan of furry vests as a rule). I don't like it so much undone, but it might look better with some styling.

The sweater looks like a really useful piece.

And kitty? Well. why is it so easy to get Kitty's gorgeous details in the pics? This is what i ask myself every time we get pictures of my kitty. Yours is beautiful!

Thanks for all the kitty love ladies. I moved the flokati & she moved too. She just loves hanging out with the furry things I guess. One day I will post all her animal print pattern mixing pics. I posted them on JulieJohn's post recently after Angie commented on her kitty's pattern mixing skills.

ETA: I will make a point of styling this vest & doing a new post.

I like both of them on you. Although, in my own experience, I find furry vests challenging to style. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, I need ideas for my own furry vest!

Awww, what a precious calico! She looks fab!

I like both new pieces. Think I would prefer the furry vest in a color that blended more with your hair, but I don't own a furry vest so take that with a grain of salt.
