I like to wear sandals most of the summer, but swollen feet have made it almost impossible to wear most of my current ones. At this point, I really have 2 pair that fit my feet when they swell later in the day - my new silver Birks and a pair of older Birks with a beadwork on them (very pre-YLF).

I bought the Fab walking Sandal that Angie recommended. They fit well, and I know they are good stylistically. I doubt they will fit next summer as they will be too wide, but I needed the wider width for when my feet swell.

I would like to add another pair or two into my weekly rotation, but at a reasonable CPW and with a least a modicum of style. DH is no help as he loves all strappy sandals.

Pics aren't great as took them myself while DH took DD to the park in all of this heat.

Pics 1&2 - Earthies sandals. Amazingly comfortable, but . . . I am not sure they meet the style quotient. And they are not inexpensive.

Pics 2&3 - Easy spirit in gold. They are okay, and I would only wear them on swollen pregnant feet. But at $28 for leather sandals, the CPW could easily get to $1 or less a wear by the end of the summer.

Pics 4&5 hopped into my cart. I had been eyeing gold booties this past winter, this pair actually, and then lost all interest in shopping. They fit well, even swollen feet. They are out of season, so I would have to wait until fall to wear them. And I am not great at making out of season purchases. Just wondering if the under $50 price tag is luring me rather than gold booties.
