K/R grey slim ankle jeans

These are AT slim ankle jeans. I like the color. They're my usual size but maybe just fit too tight? The rise is also a little lower than I'd prefer.
Interested to get perspectives...thanks!

I've been seeing most forum members wearing looser skinnies. I think it depends though on how you plan to wear them. These with a fluid tunic top would be great.

Are they stretchy? I think I see the outline of your front pockets through the cloth. Are they comfortable? I think comfort is the first thing to consider with tighter clothing. I do like the color--I've been trying to find some gray jeans. A few months ago they seemed to be everywhere, but now they are gone.

Thanks for the feedback..I'm putting them in the return pile. They seem to be pulling too much in the crotch area. Also possibly by my knees. But I'm guessing that the next size up would be too big.
So strange how the same size pants sometimes fit perfectly and sometimes don't at all.

I would give the size up a try before you give up on them. I bought some white AT Loft skinnies and there wasn't much difference between my size and a size up.

i would definitely try the next size up, or another pair of the the same size. I've found not all pants are the same/even if they are labeled the same size.

Greetings, GC. I see you've decided to return. I think a lot of fit has to do with the amount of stretch in clothing these days -- they'll wrinkle if they're loose OR tight when the they're lightweight and very stretchy. These seem to fit exactly like they're supposed to. The question is: what kind of fit do you want? If you want a little more space in the knee area and across the crotch, you might try Kut from the Kloth Dianas. Want a higher rise? Kuts are usually midrise and NYDJ are a great choice. Right now, I'm loving Levi's midrise skinnies, Levi's 505 and Levi's 525. I like a cut close the leg, but not resembling a heavy duty legging. I'm also deeply attached to my boyfriend jeans!

Thanks everyone! Very helpful. I guess the issue is that I don't like the fit--they feel too pasted on! But in the picture I also see them gaping a tiny bit around the zipper, which suggests they're a bit too tight.
Also what I see in the picture is that with the very low rise, my belly is poking out and I'm getting muffin top. Yuck! Maybe a more fluid top would help here but I think a tiny bit more rise would help too--I own a few pants that are still low rise but just not this low.
I did look online for a larger size but they don't have them in stock anymore
I guess I'm going to stay away from the slim fit, or possibly try a large size next time.
