K/R grey mary janes and blue suede booties

1-2) Grey mary janes. These are reasonably comfortable and I thought they'd be a good neutral shoe for work with jeans or grey tights + skirt. Fills a wardrobe hole.

3-5) Blue suede booties. Slightly lower heel, again reasonably comfortable. Matches my skirt. Is this too gappy around the ankle? I could swap them out for the beige color if you think it would work with brown skin.

Neither pair is as comfortable as my $$$ shoes, although they are comfortable for their price point. I'm debating whether to keep slowly building up the $$$ shoe collection vs not being such a princess and buying affordable shoes I can wear now.

Anyway, would love your thoughts on either of these pairs. Thanks!

Love the MJs! Adorable! I always THINK I don't like mary janes until I see or wear them.

The blue booties are awesome but the gap is a little much since it looks all the way around your foot. Not sure on this issue so I'll wait for others to chime in.

I am not sure if I like the cobalt booties with skirts, due to the gaping and the color itself, but they will look fantastic with jeans. I would not wear them with a matching cobalt blue skirt - but I don't do matchy matchy.

The MJ's are simple and cute.

Mary Janes are super!! Gorgeous detailing.

And I love the idea of the booties. But they do seem to gap a lot.

Adore the Mary Janes, but not sure if those are the right booties for you, sadly, with the gap so large Gorgeous colour though, so completely see the attraction!

I love the cobalt booties with the cobalt skirt. I heart matchy matchy!

Are the booties a little big though? Maybe wearing an insert/insole would solve that and reduce some of the gaping at top.

The MJs are cute too, I am surprised I like them, I usually dislike that style.

Love the grey Mary Janes... Just stunning. I love the cobalt boots but am not sure about the gap? I kind of ok with it given the style of the bootie but I don't know if that's how are meant to be.

Thanks ladies! I will keep the MJ's and pass on the booties. Even under jeans that ankle gap is just going to annoy me.
