Thanks for the replies! I agree about wearing it with a different top (it's not really styled i this pic...I was wearing a plain-jane outfit to an afternoon bbq, and just stuck the jacket on to take the pic).
Honestly I'm not sure how I feel about this jacket. I love the gray with pinstripes. I look bad in most grays, but this one is dark enough that I think I can pull it off...I love gray!). The thing that's throwing me off are the sleeves. I know that usually the shoulder seam of a jacket should normally sit at the edge of your shoulder; the sleeve seams on these fit slightly narrower than that, but I think they're supposed to because they have a semi-puffed/rouched thing going on...they don't feel too tight at all).
I agree that this jacket would look much better with a colorful top, but I am very lacking in cute, summery tops right now, so at the moment I don't really have anything to wear it with. I'm actually about to go shopping right now to see if i can find some tops!
Another thing I like about this jacket is that I think it can be worn in fall as well as spring; also, cropped jackets look best on me (since I'm under 5'1"), but are kind of hard to find right now, since everyone else seems to prefer the "boyfriend jacket" look. But does that mean that this one is out of style? My only other gray jacket leaves me unable to lift my arms, and my only other striped jacket is way too big, so this would fill a void in my wardrobe, which is something to think about as well. Hmm.
