K/R Gap teacup shirt(s)

I'd love your brutally honest opintions on this. There's something about it I love, but I'm not sure I like it on ME. It may just be my hesitation with orange... it's new to me! Or it may be that it just doesn't work. Thoughts?

I also got the white/navy, and was disappointed that the white is actually cream, and I don't do cream very well. Was planning to take it back, but decided to try it on anyway. And didn't hate it, so took a couple of shots. Not a whole pile of styling, but would like your thougths on this too.

ETA... given the length of the shirt, do you think it would better hemmed 3-4"? It does seem long with most of my jackets - too much shows if I wear it untucked.

I think they both fit you very well. The orange is very flattering on you, so I would keep that one for sure. The cream looks OK to me, but only you know if you feel good in that color or not.

I think they both look good. I agree that the orange is very nice on you. I like the cream too.....I don't think there's anything off about it. I like them with jeans, both colours. You could wear them with a khaki/neutral skirt or capris as well. I like the sneakers you're wearing in your photos. They look like a pair of Josef Siebel sneakers I just ordered and returned from Zappos.

The orange one looks really nice with your hair and skin tone so I would definitely keep it. The navy seems to fit ok but the color balance is not as nice as the orange. If you want to add only one shirt to your wardrobe, I say "go Team Orange".

I like both and both look great. I know what you mean about cream vs. white, but from the photos you posted it looks good on you and goes well with denim. If you're not absolutely in love with the cream/navy, I'd take it back and spend the money on something you really feel positive about. You'll still have the orange one to enjoy. They both work well on you, in my opinion.

Ceit, I knew you had it, how do you like it? Do you have any more photos of you in it?

And hedgehog, yup, those are the Joseph Siebel sneakers. I'm still on the fence with them, but pretty sure I'm keeping them. I really need to wear them around more to make sure they work with no socks. Back of ankle needs a bit of breaking in.

It like both colors on you (and love those sneakers, BTW). I remember Debora has styled this shirt with either a short denim jacket or a long riding jacket over it, and the length looked OK - do you have any slim black pants that you could try pairing with the untucked shirts and denim jacket? I am just wondering if it might work well with some jacket/pants pairing even at the current length, without shortening.

Ooh! I love you in the orange! Definitely keep that one.

I quite like the other one, too, but I am super partial to navy with white or cream (doesn't matter to me which) and so I guess it just depends how you would wear it if you don't care for cream. If you would layer under pullovers maybe it wouldn't matter so much. The pattern is fun.

I like both shirts alot! I don't think you would go wrong with either shirt so I think you have to go with your gut. I do not have the courage to wear orange but I am a wimp LOL.

I think you look great in the orange. I like the cream one, but I think you look like you're not into it. If you're not wild about it, I'd take it back.

Absolutely LOVE you in the orange/red one - looks great with both denim and white. I'm not feeling the cream one for you though so I might pass on that one.

Thanks so much for your input... the cream one has been returned, and the orange one is still in my closet, albiet with the tags on. Next challenge, to actually cut them off and venture into public!

Makrme, yes, I do have slim black pants. Was a bit reluctant to wear black and orange togetehr, for obvious reasons, but I'm sure once I start actually wearing this that I will. Tks!

I think the red one looks very nice, youcan really rock that colour, but blue and cream is boring. Looking at the photos, the print does kind of "spread" over your bust in kind of an optical illusion sort of way. Sizing up might help but I think it fits, just that the print is a bit distracting in that area. But, then again you have a shape so of course the print is going to follow your shape! Ack! Kind of wittering on now...pay me no mind!

The orange looks great on you! The blue and white is nice also but not as stand out as the orange.

I like the cream on you, but I love the orange. I would get the orange and return the cream. With such a distinctive pattern, you are probably only going to reach for one of them.

No surprise, I actually love both of these on you! If it was one over the other, I would pick the red. It looks great with your coloring. I love all the ways you have styled it, especially with the white jeans. Be prepared for lots of compliments!
