The intended purpose was skirts and dresses. Should I post some possible outfits? They have slouched a bit with wearing around the house.

Even on sale at a killer price, they need to be right. I've learned my lesson well here.

I also wonder about the heel height--I have some vague recollection of you saying a while back that you had a pair of orphaned boots because the heel was too high at 3"...something about realizing that 3" is just too high for you for everyday wear? Am I mis-remembering, or does that ring a bell?

Jonesy, I very well may have said that, but I've since gotten used to 3" as long as they are a solid heel and preferably a boot. I can't do skinny heels at any height, really, although the Tsubos work for me for events where dressy heels are needed. These are really comfortable wearing around the house. Again, though - I don't want to look silly in them!

Yes, let's see some outfits with the new slouchified height! My initial impression, though, was along the lines of Angie's -- good, but not a "10" because of the shaft height. But the calf fit is really nice...
