K/R Fit of New Moto

Santa (aka DH) bought me this pretty Calvin Klein moto jacket for Christmas! I'm not sure if I should size up. This is really going to be primarily an indoor jacket, and I'm wearing it in the pics with about the heaviest top that I would normally wear. Shoulder movement is good.

The color is "Zinfandel." It's also available in a light tan color, and I might order that one too.

What say you: Is this size good or do you think I should size up?

Maybe you can keep it and also order the next size up so that you can then choose the one that looks and feels best to you.

Fit looks good to me, fitted is much better than baggy for jackets

On no no no, Karie, don't size up. It would be sloppy. This looks just right. Is this Damier? Are you getting good use from your purchase earlier in the fall?

Chiming in again to mention that i have a jacket this color and i love it with med/light grey

It looks like the right size to me. It doesn't appear to pull anywhere. I would keep this size unless it feels too tight somewhere.

Also the color is lovely on you. Wear it in good health!

I think the fit looks right. If you size up, I think it will be baggy and look a little shapeless. And you're already wearing your heaviest clothes underneath, so when you go up a size it will all be excess material and won't be filled out.

For what it's worth, the fit looks fine to me.

I don't think you should size up: is it uncomfortably tight? It does not look so at all. I would also try a size down to compare because it is leather and the style is fitted. The color is gorgeous!

Ditto what Sveta said about trying a size down. You definitely don't need to size up unless there's some tightness that we can't see.

I was going to say the same thing - don't size up unless it feels too tight. At's beautiful and looks nice as is. Did Santa have help picking it out our did he discover that on his own?

Thanks everyone! Santa picked it out all on his own. He thought it was real leather, it's not, it's an extremely nice faux leather which is OK with me. This is a size small (4-6) and by Calvin Klein's fit chart, this is the size I should wear. A size XS is a 0-2 and there is no way, except in my dream world, that I could wear that size. I am always between two sizes - small and medium - and this jacket isn't tight anywhere, it just looks small on the hanger. When I saw it, my first thought was "this is going to be too small." I ended up cutting off the tags and wearing it all day, and it feels like the fit is just about perfect.

Santa also gave me some real leather boots that are gorgeous - I will post them in a WIW.
