Hi all! I haven't been around in a long time because I HAD to stop shopping, and this place was too tempting! I'm losing a lot of weight, though, and need to shop again. I also keep up with Angie's blog, no matter what!
I'm so torn about this dress for my fantasy life. Ya know, the life where I can wear a sheath dress any old day. I've never been able to wear a sheath and I've never looked like this in a dress. I love draping and interesting patterns, and this dress has both! I passed it up when I first tried it on, but kept thinking about it. Today, weeks later, it was still there with a further price reduction. I bought it and figured I'd let you all decide for me! I've been trying to keep my wardrobe down in size and reduced it quite a bit over the past few months. This is the part that's making the decision difficult -- trying to keep my closet small.
Can I wear this as a MOTG or is it too much? I don't really have special occasions for it. Would I look pretentious wearing this to run errands or taking my kids to sports? FWIW, I wear skirts and dresses all spring and summer long, instead of shorts. I usually wear a-line shirtdresses or wrap dresses, which have a much more casual feel...but I'm also ready for something different.
