K/R: Equipment floral bomber...

I found this new Equipment floral bomber for a STEAL and ordered it, then promptly forgot about it (I know, crazy, but it's been a nutty summer) and DH just found the package on the side deck of our house where it was wrongly delivered. I am too sick to post pics but it does fit. And I really like it. I've been looking for a bomber jacket forever, and also for something floral that feels like me.

But it's silk, and summer's over - although this would be an indoor jacket for me anyway. And I can't decide if the print (which I love) is too old-lady.

I'm not even sure I can return it because it's been more than 2 weeks since it got here, but it was so cheap I can easily recoup the $.

Love it! I was stalking the shirt in this print so I understand the appeal. The jacket is equally fab!

Sounds like it may be a good transition piece/indoor jacket. The dark background lessens the sweetness of the floral print. Would love to see you do your styling magic with it.

Good idea, Deb! I was actually thinking of it as a substitute for a cardi with skirts too. When I have more energy I will experiment because I don't want to add random stuff in while I am still figuring out what should exit the closet!

I love it! I wish I could pull off floral prints like that! I would wear them for sure! Excellent choice! Wear now until it gets too cold, and then pull out again next year. It's timeless!

I love it! (Admittedly, I do own a bomber with a floral print and a black background, so I may be biased.) I suspect I'd like your styling a lot more than that blogger's.

I love it too, but you rarely wear florals. I believe you could make this your own (for style and for weather) and you could never look old lady in this. The dark background will help you bridge seasons, but the fabric may limit its all year wear.

I see the old lady print thing (hey, I live with my 81 year old Mom). But you're not an old lady and the cut is modern. It would look really cute with boyfriend or skinny jeans. Don't you travel to warm places during the colder months? I could see it being the perfect light jacket for a Hawaii trip or tropical cruise.

Doesn't look old lady to me. However I'm obsessed with kimonos at the moment and this is kimono esque print, so you may not trust my judgement x

I love it. Print reminds me of the jacket I got from Zara last year. I wore it to death and then passed it along to E.

But I would love this one, too -- I still don't have a bomber!!! I'd actually love a silk one...it would be "sweater-like" and indoor.

I love it. I don't find the print old lady because it he flowers look more artistic and less real. Besides, there is a fabulous lime green color in there you could emphasize.

I could easily see this paired with a thin sweater and trousers in the winter. I actually love silk in the winter. It just isn't toddler or lazy launderer friendly.

I rather like the old-style floral print ^^ It's got great potential for you Una! It's primarily dark, so it'll jive with most of your stuff; it'll also brighten up all of your blacks and grays. I was also thinking it'd be perfect as a cardigan replacement, but of course a little less cozy (which is sometimes a Good Thing).

I can imagine this on you, Una. Would it go over your acid green tunic (or am I mis-remembering something, making something up that you don't own)? I say keep.
