My one NAS weakness. I have black and orange sporty Spy sunglasses right now, and that's it - been wearing the same style for maybe 5 years. While I'm not usually wild about cat eyes, I fell in love when I tried on this pair for research. Some of my other orders are going back, so they are ok to keep $$ wise. Do you like them? It's been ages since I thought about glasses.

Angie, I got some spanner votes, so I wanted to ask your opinion. Added extra photos and control shot of my current sunnies (last two are the old ones). ETA a photo of them sitting properly, since apparently I'm used to frames low on my nose (final photo).

Rae, I love them but i do love cat eye glasses! I would be interested to hear Angie chim in tho, as not long ago when I posted a pair the fact that they didn't cover my eye brows made them not quite right. So ever since i have been operating on the principle that sunglasses should cover our brows???

Deborah's right, and I've heard the eyebrow covering rule as well. I wondered about that. I like that they kind of mimic the shape of your brows though. I think that's why they work for me.

I love them. (I do have serious sugar eye for cat eyes though.) I am sad they do not make them for prescription sunnies.

I believe sunnies should be as big as possible so covered eyebrows are fine by me. Better sun protection.

I needed to adjust, because this is a look that would have given me the poison eye in the past, but it's cool and fun and does suit your style.

I would not have noticed were it not for this discussion, but it seems rae's brows are high, with more distance between them and her eyes. (I have the opposite situation. ETA that I've always been envious--you get to play around with all sorts of makeup effects, whereas my low-set brows and deep-set eyes make it all a moot point.) So I'd imagine it would be difficult to find lenses that would be big enough to cover that whole area. I don't find the visible brows to be a problem in this case anyway, because there's something playful and ironic about the design.

LOVE! They fit your face perfectly. If I hadn't just bought some Ray-Ban aviators they would be going in my cart! My sunnies never cover my brows--I do aim for a shape that hamonizes with my brows--and many MUAs have told me that I have A LOT of area to work with, so maybe that is why.

OK, I just re-read the thread and I realize that the question was whether it was OK that the eyebrows aren't covered. Just for the record, I think that's fine too! My sunnies (which are enormous) still don't cover my brows because all specs sit too low on my very flat nose bridge, plus I think my brows (like yours) are pretty high.

My current sunnies don't cover my brows, either, and those are pretty big. I think I am like Diana with a relatively shallow nose bridge and high brow arches. No one has said they look too narrow for my face, which was my worry, so I guess I'm ok!

I like those a lot! You're so lucky you don't need prescription lenses - lenses that large only work for normal sunglasses.

Being a spanner here. I am not sure they are great for your face shape. I am not in love. If they were an inexpensive pair to play with, I would probably feel differently.

I'm afraid I'm with Thistle on this one - although the glasses are gorgeous and your face is even MORE gorgeous, I'm not sure of the shape of them on you. Something with how narrow they go at the bridge seems off to me. Sorry Rae

Hmm..they kind of look insectoid to me. I don't like something about the shape at the bridge of the nose. They actually remind me of Bono's Zooropa sunglasses. But, it's a look, and if you like it, then I say go for it!

Another spanner... I htink it is ok that a bit of brow shows above. But at first glance I thought you had placed these intentionally low on your nose. At second glance I realized you hadnt... they have this teetering are about to fall off vibe to me. Sorry although I am not Angie by a mile so I hope she'll have a chance on her busy day to ring in. I'll learn from her answer I am sure!

Sarah A said what I saw -- they look like they're sitting low. I don't think sunglasses have to cover eyebrows, but these do seem a bit low on you.

I sympathize because this is a constant problem for me. It's why I always get glasses with nose pads. :-/

Hm, Janet and Sara, they actually can sit higher... they will stay wherever I put them. I just put them on the same place on my nose where I am used to the other ones sitting. Here they are all the way up - any better?

Rae, I feel the same way about them as Sarah A: absolutely alright to show brow, but they look awfully low on your nose. Too low. Your current sunglasses - although cut a little big for your face - are a better position on the nose and below the brow. The cat eyes are cut too low below the brow.

So because I am PEDANTIC about the way things should fit, I like these - but do not love them. If they were cut a little higher above the brow, they would be a 20 out of 10.
