This is a beautiful dress, but I can understand your concern regarding whether it is JFE or not. I have a number of swing items (dresses, coats and jumpers) and often feel as though I am twice the size because of the volume - but I do think that in motion, they are much more flattering than when standing still. I love the colour and fit, so I vote keep but only if you feel good in it. If you have any reservations then return because you will probably find that you reach for something else in preference if you are unsure.
Bijou, thanks for sharing your experience. I do feel huge in it. I ordered a smaller size, and maybe with a closer fit on my shoulders, I'll feel better. I want a throw on and go dress for multiple occasions - dinner out, church, theater, lunch with friends.
I like it in general but I think the smaller size will be better. I have a bigger chestal area than you do so I fill out the tops of those types of dresses more, not that I'm bragging. I love blue dresses, and I love swing dresses, and I wish I could afford that one right now.
Wow, I think this has great potential to be a wardrobe workhorse! I really like this dress on you. I will need to see the comparison of the smaller size because if I hadn't seen the model pics, I would never have thought to try smaller.
