I've decided to keep. After doing some thinking, the pros largely outweigh the cons.

On the color issue, Angie and Brooklyn, I do think it's more blue than it comes across in photos. The weave is natural and indigo fibers, with a very thin vertical shot of cobalt blue that catches the light in a way that changes the overall effect in person.
delurked, yes, I hear you on the little girl thing, though it's a different effect for those of us who are taller than for petite women. More jarring than infantilizing.
Momo, I think you might be seeing the creases left from shipping as seams, but the cut is just slightly A-line.
Sheila, I 100% don't care about the weave matching perfectly at the side seams. I'm not even sure that would be possible, given the randomness of it.
Barbara Diane - Red shoes aren't my thing, but I could see that for others.
Elle - I wash almost everything in cold water, and run a delicate/handwash load at least once a week, so I have no issues there.
