K/R Eddie Bauer jacket

I just received this Eddie Bauer jacket and I am not sure about it. I love the black and white tweed fabric, just not sure about the back vents and fit. I like it better with the posket flaps in. What do you guys think?

How does the fit feel across the bust and shoulders? I find it hard to tell from pics sometimes, but is it maybe a little big? I do like the style and the color though, just wonder if a size down would be better.

Honestly, I do think it looks a little big, especially in pic 4. Blazers can be hard to get a good fit in. I do like the fabric, and it is pretty, but perhaps a one button blazer would look better?

The bust and shoulders fit perfectly, I could not do a size down. Hmm...maybe I should order a petite and see how that fits? It could be too long in the body, hence the too big look.

If it were just the sleeves and waist I'd say you could decide about tailoring, but that is a longer (not super-long equestrian, though) blazer and I think you would look better in a shorter style. So, petite sizing might work, or you might need to shop for a different brand that is shorter and nipped just a bit more in the waist, which I think would really look good on you.

To me the fit looks off. It could be because of the packaging and the way you have to pose holding the camera (I sympathize - it is SO awkward to do that!) but it looks off to me. I have seen you looking much more fab!

It does look big through the shoulders and the back. I vote for ordering a petite to see. This blazer is a good idea though!

I really like the color and style, but agree with others who say it seems large. I know you said it fits in the bust, but to me that's where it looks large. I hope the petite works better for you.

I think trying the petite is a good idea. The jacket seems a litle too long in the length of the body & arms.

This looks too big. Petite might work, but EB runs boxy, I think. Still, it's worth a try.

Okay, forgive me because I've been trying on scores of blazers this week and I've gotten really picky. I think the cut is a bit off and changing to a petite or up or down a size might not solve the issue.
