Is it possible to see each one with the neckline revealed? I do feel the first one is dressier and may be harder to dress down, but I feel like I’m not getting a clear view of how each one looks from the bodice up on you.

Dressy. Is. Not. A. Problem! Wear it, own it, be fab, and go about your day

I am late here but I am 100% Team First Dress! It's gorgeous and fits you beautifully. But I think I have a bit of a poison eye for the bodice on the second one--something about it reminds me of a sensible maternity dress, with the slight empire waistline :).

I prefer the Maggy London. I am not a fan of all the bust draping on the other. It doesn’t look like your tailored style.

The ML, without question. It looks amazing on you, and while it can be a beautifully dressy dress, I also think it can be dressed down with the right accessories and shoes. It also seems like a far more versatile and timeless dress that will last longer.

I would get #1 and look for a different dress for casual purpose. I don’t think the second dress is really your style, to be honest - it’s not good enough in cut or fit, looks like a compromise made in the interest of being ‘practical’. The first one is classic and fits you beautifully so it’s a slam dunk - if you have need/want for it. If what you need is a casual knit dress I would personally choose something different than the second one for you. But more importantly, would you be happy wearing it in the scenarios you envision?

I seem to be in the minority, but love the Jjill dress!!! The ML looks very uptight and somewhat prissy to my eye. The Jjill looks relaxed but dressy.

Life got busy and I didn’t have time to follow up on this.

I did try each dress on again, and in the end as soon as I put the JJill dress on again, I knew it was going back, yes it’s easy peasy and more casual, but it’s just to casual. The Maggie London doesn’t give the same relaxed feel even with sneakers, and it looks more body con than i usually wear, although it doesn’t feel body con- I know the contraction. But in the end, it just felt more me. Thanks to everyone for the feedback, as always it helped me to sort thru what I was seeing and feeling

Thank you for letting us know! Always interesting to see someone go through this process and all the different thoughts.
