K/R dolman sleeve chunky sweater ETA: More pics!!!

Please see the pics below and give me your opinion! Personally, I think this sweater is super pretty (colors were impossible to capture in my kitchen; please see http://www.loft.com/loft/produ.....Color=9716 for a stock photo), but I would like your opinion on whether a super short person (i.e. ME) can pull off a chunky dolman sleeve sweater.

And, if you DO like the sweater, how would you style it? It seems like it might look weird with anything other than skinny jeans.

P.S. As usual, I can't find my good camera, so these pics are not that great. However, I tried to brighten/lighten them up a bit with my photo editor, so at least you can see the basic lines of the clothes.

ETA: Please let me know even if you think it looks terrible! I need all opinions, since this is kind of a new silhouette for me.

ETA II: Added some photos with a 60 inch tape measure plus fridge and door frame for reference, since apparently I look tall even though I'm short!

I have a hard time with the concept of dolman sleeves on me too but I really like this sweater on you...the pattern is great and I like how you styled it! Keep!

Call me biased, because I'm short and love dolmans :-p

So I won't comment on that aspect, but I think the outfit looks great as styled. You could also try the sweater with slouchy tapered pants, if you wear them, and possibly a midi-length pencil skirt with tall boots as well.

Well, without looking at the text, my first thought on seeing the pictures was "well, of course she can wear this, she's so TALL!"

Thanks for the responses so far! My husband is lukewarm on the sweater. I'm leaning toward keeping it, but something that my husband and I both noticed is that, due to the chunky knit combined with the loose/dolman sleeve fit, it does kind of bunch up in weird ways sometimes (as you can see really well in pic 6)...but I'm not sure if I'm just being too picky. I keep going back and forth on whether I like it on me. I REALLY like the colors and the fabric.

@Alaskagirl, I wonder why I look so tall in these photos, lol! I should have made my husband stand next to me...I'm like 5' and 1/4" tall.

Love this silhouette and the way you've styled it but I hear what you're saying about the bunching. I didn't notice it in the pictures until you pointed it out so I don't think it's too big an issue. Yet, if it is going to bug you, I vote return. That's the kind of thing that would make a closet orphan for me.

By the way, you look great. I love the clothes too. Whatever it is, you look leggy, tall and casually pulled together.

Thanks for the responses! I am definitely going to start standing next to something in these photos to keep myself from looking so tall, lol! Maybe it's my camera angle? I propped up my phone on the kitchen bar to take these photos, but I tried to keep it straight up-and-down to avoid distortion and such. Next time I should pose next to a yardstick.

I am leaning toward keep, but will try on again today in the daylight (half the lightbulbs are not working in my room right now, and that's where my full-length mirrors are)...at first the bunching really bothered me, but for some reason it doesn't show in most of the photos so maybe it doesn't look as bad as I thought? I think I must be short waisted or something because I always have to keep pulling my sweaters down throughout the day anyway...they all seem to ride up or something.

Yes I had to dial back and re-read the text wondering what the figure difficulty was supposed to be again. I see no problem height or otherwise.
That bunching is odd in #6, but other than that, I think the fit and suitability are good. Wear it around the house for a few hours to see if ends up bunched often. Constantly adjusting clothes is no fun.

Okay, too many people told me I look tall so I have added photos. That's a 60" tape measure by the way. New pics include fridge and door frame for better height reference. Actually I was hoping these new pics would be better quality, since I found my good camera, but obviously I am a terrible photog, sorry! Probably should have turned the light on in my kitchen. These were taken pre-shower so please ignore the lack of makeup and greasy hair. Will keep probably the sweater if y'all still think it looks good.
