I have been hunting for a denim jacket for months - Angie and the forum talked me out of one last spring, and I'm glad because I like this one much better. I'm even willing to overlook the vestigial pockets and tell myself I can at least stick my keys there. I would carry a purse for this jacket!

It is a lovely light slate gray which I think would be better for me with jeans than all blue denim head to toe. I love the details, and have been adding more navy and burgundy to my wardrobe, so I think this would go. AvaMariah and JAileen's purchase of the NAS Sgt Pepper jacket made me want to follow this trend, - this is kind of a statement jacket, but not too much for me, and still quite casual.

I actually bought the regular size rather than the petite (they don't have petite in stores) because I don't think I'd want it any shorter - I like the back of my jeans to be covered. The sleeves are a tad long, but they would be 1.5" shorter in the petite size and I think that might be too short, based on the recent discussion of proper sleeve length for jackets being around thumb knuckle. I don't think they would be easy to shorten.

It is stretchy and easy to move in even when buttoned, which I might not do that often, but like to be able to. I think the wrinkling at the shoulder I see the the photos is mostly my poor posture, and the jacket could use an iron.

#6-7 is over a midnight long sleeveHanes t-shirt. I probably would not wear it over heavier layers.

Is it flattering? Should I go up a size and get even longer sleeves/hem? Or petite and up a size? Thanks for looking.
