K/R Costco Calvin Klein Ponte Knit pants

Ok, I really didn't think they looked as bad as the pictures represent, seems like with boots, a tunic or dress these would work, but I already have some great zippered leggings from last year that are ACTUALLY long enough for me as well as the Gap Ponte knit pants that can be worn with or without boots...

They seem to be scrunching at the knees instead of the ankle--can you tug them down a bit.? I don't think they look bad *at all* and they would definitely work with tunics/dresses and boots. Did you want to style them in a different way and are thinking they won't work?

Ariadne, I guess I'm fine with just wearing with boots and tunics, just thought it couldn't hurt to add another pair to my wardrobe with the cooler weather approaching. When I had them on they didn't feel like they were bagging at all so when I saw the photos I was a little surprised. Good thing we take pictures, huh?

Thanks for posting, Carole. I've been wondering about these! I think they are fine for tucking and to wear with tunics as long as the knees don't get too wrinkly. I have a pair of too short skinny cargos from Target and I wear them only with tall boots--so these kind of pants do have a purpose. That being said, I wish mine were longer so I had the option of wearing flats if I wanted. Seem like a good deal for back up pant for us casual dressers!

They look great on you. Unless you already have a pair that fills the warderobe gap I say keep them.

YOU look great. If the pants will bug you don't keep them but if you have a use for these tucked into tall boots and you are not too worried about the knees, then I can definitely see them as an addition.

Thanks Sandy and Suz. I may just return these, I don't NEED them, these would be just another pair to wear with boots. If I add a pair I guess they should be long enough to wear with flats, right?!

I would agree with returning these for a pair that would work with boots and flats. They are too short and the bunching at the knees may get worse with knee high boots as you walk.

My tall boots are pretty fitted, and I tuck my pants into my socks, for extra fitted-ness. Which keeps them smooth at the knees.

That said, these may shrink. I don't know about Costco brand, but my INC ponte knits shrunk a couple inches. And not just lengthwise, also width-wise. So... maybe go up a size?
