A pair of cognac booties is on my "want" list for this fall ( I do not have a "need' list, as I do not really need anything). Yesterday I stumbled upon this pair at the Rack and took them home with me to decided if I should keep them or not.

They are made from perforated suede, with lighter ankle straps and cutouts. The point that sold me on them was the fit around the ankles! They fit, perfectly, and with my skinny ankles that is quite a miracle. I have tried and returned many similar booties, including JC Everly's and Tory Burch navy ones. The flower pot effect with all of them was ridiculous.

What I have originally envisioned was pair of slick simple cognac leather booties, like the Seychelles one I have attached in finds. These are obviously very different. Now I do have other booties, to account for the fact that perforated suede and cutouts would make the wear window shorter. I have also managed to find other cutout booties, though with very different cutout type (I have the JC's attached in the second Find photo, but in patterned white). Also curious if the color is close to cognac enough, or if they read more like dark tan.

ETA: I managed to find the booties online (Find #3), though in different color.
