K/R Classiques Entier Loot (ETA: New Pic)

Forum hog, sorry, so I promise last of the night.

After how well my Classiques Entier jackets went over, I pounced on the silk top Angie recomended. Luxurious and lucious, but I worry about the pattern over my hips. I tried it both with and without the jacket as I would like to be able to wear the shell into the summer months.

Second up is a Classique sweater. Deal breaker here is it is tunic length. I really prefer them the end around mid hip or so. Too long is bad for me, which I think this might be. I love it though. Cotton, cashmere, silk blend. Soft and luxurious (and of course found when Nordie's recommended it as I was snapping up the shell).

ETA: Added a new picture of the sweater against old pants. They are a terrible length, so I don't wear them, but they do contrast with the top

Whoa. I HOPE you will keep that top, I think it is so lovely on you!! You can definitely wear it with an without a jacket, and I also think it could look lovely with a skirt. This brand is really wonderful for you. That Angie knows her stuff!

I actually really like the sweater on you, too. With the low contrast pants there is no sense that it is too long. I guess it would be for wearing with pants only, but since trousers are a big part of your life (esp. in winter) that doesn't seem to be a problem. I say if it fills a need, keep.

I like the top. To my eye the pattern pulls the attention to your waist. As for the sweater, I love the soft neckline on you but I'm the same way about sweater lengths so I worry that you won't feel comfortable in it. If something is the wrong length on me, I always end up not wearing it.

Thistle I love the top. I think it is a keeper. It has that lovely v neckline and is beautifully waist defining. The sweater I am having trouble seeing on my monitor. Would this be a layering piece?

It is a drape neck sweater, comes down all the way past my hips. It would be the top layer with the neckline. I would most likely layer a cami under it.

The shell, or first top, is stunning. It looks great on you and you should definitely keep it! The black sweater I am not quite as keen on - not so much because of the length (which I don't actually view as a problem), but because it doesn't define your shoulders enough. Somehow the neckline along with the soft shoulders just isn't as flattering as other things; it isn't fabulous enough for you.

Love #1, and find it very flattering indeed. I also like the black top but these are easy to find, so maybe you can hold out for better. I like your hair up too! #1is a keeper picture!

I like both too -- that top in 1 looks great with and without the jacket!

I like them both but you need to go with what you feel works for you.

LOVE #1 my goodness, don't worry any more about that pattern. I also think I might like that tunic sweater. I am not sure where I see it hitting you on the leg, but it is fitted enough that it may not matter too much, as long as it's not the widest part of your bod. If you wanted to consider it more, maybe try a pic with a more contrasting pant?

That top is great, but of course it would be as an Angie recommendation : ) It will also be nice with jeans once the right pair makes itself known. I'm tempted to try it myself.

I like #2 as a layering piece, although I see is more as a piece to layer under than over other items. Love it with the light pants. Yes, they're a little too short. Can they be let down?

The top is perfection. Its style and hemline curve keep.surrounding a length problem. It's very elegant on you- must keep.
