K/R: cashmere tunic and AG skinnies

Ugh. I'm sick today. Hiding behind hat and glasses.

The color in this photo is deceptive - it is more chartreuse than citron. Too much like everything else I own? Or a good addition to my uniform?

Also showing these leather-look AG skinnies which are a deep blue. They are not that flattering on top, but I only wear skinnies with longer tops and jackets anyway. Actually, they fit much like the model, with that wrinkling effect.

Hmmm, I do like the top on you, but then it looks warm, snuggly, and happily colored for winter days. Do you have other sweaters very similar?

As for the skinnies, they look good to me. Not sure about the wrinkling effect, but it seems to me that clothes have to move with you.

Thistle, I have two other tunic sweaters, but they are both dark (black and navy)... I do like the bright acid color of this one. Just worrying I'm in a total rut, even though I am not bored with it.

I hope you start feeling better soon! I think if you are loving to wear lots of tunics we call that a "signature style" ... its only a rut if you are wanting to change You look fantastic: comfy, warm, and pulled together in this shilouette.

I'd say 3 tunic sweaters, living in AK, is hardly a rut. More like necessity! Hope you feel better.

I am not the one to ask since I feel there are not enough sweater tunics and dresses in the universe during the winter and you live in a much colder area than I do. I think it's a great addition to your wardrobe and the fit and coloring are very flattering. Who knew that color would look so awesome with the gray and blue. Great score!

I don't think you are in a rut at all. I think you just know what works for you and with at you like:). I I have come to the conclusion recently that I actually don't mind if my outfits look similar each day. I am finding I like less and less of what I see in the stores (for me) and am much happier in a limited colour palette and a specific "look". This creates ease in my dressing and I think a more Hines sense of my "style" self.

Love both items. And I think they are very you. The colour of the sweater is so vibrant but still has an edge that I associate with your style, the skinnies are so skinny! Love them:)

IK, they are somewhere in between stiff and soft. They are not really waxy in the sense of feeling sticky, and they aren't really stretchy. I've been wearing them around the house and they haven't stretched much. Seem TTS.

I'm about to post another pic with them as I have to drag myself to work.

I don't think it is a rut...it is a style. One that suits you and works for you. I agree, it is only a rut if you don't like it and want a change.

Besides, I think color makes all the difference. Most of your things aren't bright, so this looks like a change, not more of the same. Keep keep keep!

On the phone, but I think a bright tunic is in order since the others are both dark. I also like what I can see of the jeans. Although are they too similar to those coated ombre ones with blue on bottom, since you would cover so much of the top?

I think the tunic is a fun color and a great shape for you, and am pretty sure it's not possible to have too many cashmere tunic sweaters.

I can't really judge the jeans because I have no idea how coated skinnies are supposed to fit, but they seem to look good and have an interesting texture while still being neutral.

Gorgeous tunic, and the skinnies look great to me. I think the wrinkling shows up more in photos.

I'm glad you've found a formula of dressing that's working so beautifully for you. No one else is going to be bored of it, but if you are, you can easily just add an additional formula or two to the mix.

I think it's a great color and since your other two are dark colors, this would freshen things up. I think it is hard to find bright things in winter fabrics so I always look at those first in a store if they have anything.
