K/R cargo pants

Caro in Oz

I love that they make my rear look round when it isn't & that they have those clips & ties inside so I can make them into shorts.

I also wanted to see if they would look ok with a jacket & not just as really casual.
What do you think? Honesty is appreciated:)

I like them on you, Caro. Some might think of them more as "gear," but what I know of your style makes me think they'd integrate well into your wardrobe. I'm not wild on the partial tuck in #1 --- perhaps a half tuck? But I agree with you that the back view is terrific.

I really like # 2, not so much # 1 - not sure why (I'm fairly new at this LOL), something just seems a bit off.

I think the cargo-style pockets will always read casual rather than dressy --- which is not to say they don't work with the jacket! I like the juxtaposition, in fact. It's bold and adventurous. Unexpected, hence fun.

I'm with Beth Ann on #1 --- I think a smidge more tuck? Maybe with a belt (can't tell if you are wearing one on my screen).

I like them with the neutrals. They do dress up well! Looks like a great casual pant to me.

Thanks everyone, I think if they look okay here to you all then that's a keep because I can do "better" with the styling. I have a more casual cotton jacket & tops that they will look good with. The aqua top is a bit big & it seems to slide out of the pants so I'll try other tops with the half-tuck. Yes I was wearing a belt:)

I like them in 2 and 3 with more tailored tops. I think in #1, although good for the heat, the look is one of those tricky volume-on-volume looks that is making you look bigger than you are (sorry, hope that isn't too honest).

CocoLion Not too honest - I really appreciate your eye & I have the same feeling about the top - I think that's why summer is so hard - I really need structure or drape on top or I tend to look square & as big as my bustline:)

They look great on your long legs, caro! I'm glad that there's hope for me to get a rounder butt effect, LOL. Hubby's always complaining about the flat, square butt : )

Also preferring them with the tailored tops. Though disclaimer is that I really dislike the semi-tuck with very few exceptions. But regardless, it's a nice balance, since the trousers are loose and less structured.

I think these can integrate into your wardrobe very well Caro and the fit is lovely on you (look at that pretty tush!).

Agree with the others that maybe the first outfit isn't the best but I know you will ROCK the styling with these so I have no worries!

So, based on the title, I was not expecting to like them as I have a bit of a poisoned eye to cargo pants. But I was mistaken!

I really like them in #2 and #3 as others have said.
