K/R burgundy leather jacket

This jacket was a steal. The quality is great, leather is soft, color is perfect for my wardrobe. The question is fit. It's definitely bigger than I had hoped, but is it a deal breaker? What do y'all think? The arms are crazy long, rolled up once for these pics. Wearing it to snap pictures, it's very comfy and I may be kidding myself into believing that it's forming to my shape a bit as it relaxes. I wouldn't wear it zipped, but showed it that way for fit assessment.

Give it to me straight, ladies!

Hmmm,it doesn't look bad to me, maybe a bit big on the shoulders but that might be because your arm is bent taking the pics. Would you have to get the sleeves shortened? They look quite nice just rolled as you've done.

I so want to say yes (the colour is perfect on you) but it does look too big across the shoulders & in the sleeves - & they do stretch. SORRY...................

I love the style on you, but it *is* too big on the shoulders. Hmm...I'd return it if it were me. But I need a perfect fit on the shoulders.

To my eye (FWIW) the shoulders are a little too big on you....sorry :(. The colour is divine and it sounds like the price is great. Let's see what Angie says?

FWIW, I had the sleeves on my leather jacket taken up to just above the crease between my thumb and forefinger (if that makes sense?) and I've always been glad that I did; it was worth the little bit of extra expense (relative to the cost of the jacket) to have a just-my-perfect-size fit.

Sleeves are a bit long, can you alter? Shoulders are right for me...and I like it closed even better(+ an elongating scarf?)

I know you want honesty .... so I have to say the shoulders look too big:(. Color is gorgeous on you but I just don't think the fit is good enough. Can you size down?

I'm going to spend a bit more time pondering due to the low price. It doesn't have to go back right away to replenish the bank account, so I can stew on it a bit more.

It's not available in a smaller size. This was the smallest available and the last one of this size. It's such a pity because it's so nice and I think the right size would just be perfection. I think I'd probably even duplicate it in other colors if the fit were on.

Running out the door for work, but I updated the pics with a picture of it in better light and a chunky sweater layered under. Still too big?

I'm just seeing this for the first time now, so I'm getting to look at the most recent picture, and it doesn't look big in that one, but I think I see what you're talking about in the first two pics -- a little bunching at the shoulder especially when you arm is lifted. Honestly, I get a tiny bit of this in one of my jackets that really couldn't fit me if it were any smaller.

It's a fab jacket, and I totally see why you want to keep it. Bottom line, how do ou feel in it? Will the slight bit of extra room drive you nuts over time? There are a lot of great jackets out now, so if there is a question in your mind, you might want to keep looking.

It looks better but it still does look large in the shoulder, the way the left sleeve collapses at the shoulder suggests it still is too big.

Bottom line though, if you like it and don't mind the extra room, then go for it.

My two cents - I think it looks a tad big, but nothing dramatical. If you keep it, you might have to layer under it to make it look right, but it can be done. So if you really like it and the price is good, keep it!
