K/R burgundy jeans & leopard booties

What do you think of these H&M burgundy skinnies sized way up and the pointy toe leopard booties from Saffees?
These are both pieces I'm considering for short term closet time to update outfits. Both are very inexpensive but I don't want to keep anything if it doesn't work or fit.
The jeans are something I'm considering for a casual fall capsule with browns and oranges. Do they look too skinny? They are very stretchy and comfortable sized up to a 12. I left the leg on your left full length...lots of scrunch. The right side is turned under a few inches. Which is best? Or something in between?
The shooties/booties are something I'd like to wear with pants/jeans but the pointy toe makes my foot look huge. Maybe a wider pant leg would be best. Can they be worn with jeans this narrow? #3 shows zippers on both sides and gold metallic trim.

Yeah! Love the skinnies. The booties look good to me also. I think they look fine with skinny jeans.

From what I see, I like them both. The booties are pointy but not crazy-pointy.
The pants fit looks good-slim but slightly fluid.

I also think they both look great. I think you just have to get used to the look of the boots with the skinnies. They look very modern worn together. I never think to size up on skinnies. I just try on "my size" and then run screaming from the dressing room.

This looks really fresh and modern, Joy! I like both pieces a lot. The only thing that gives me pause is the dropped crotch, but I do like it. Do you?

I like them best with a little scrunch at the hem. I think the booties are fab. Booties tend to make my feet look big but I wear them anyway.

You sized up to a 12? Wow, that is really sizing up. Maybe I haven't gone up high enough when I've tried the size up trick with skinnies. These look good on you in the picture and are a great colour. I prefer with a bit of scrunch. I also love the booties. They actually remind me of Mochi's infamous booties from last year.

Love both! I died a pair of jeans burgundy in the spring and I wear them constantly.
IMO the perfect length would be something in between what you show and I think the bootie works with skinnys.

Thank you for your comments. Suz,I suspect this style of jean must run small or be meant to be worn like leggings. They were the first pair of the burgundy I like that was full length on me, not ankle length. I need to revisit Mochi's thread
Ingunn, I think I've developed a tolerance for low crotch but that's an excellent point and something to consider. I need to get a brown belt and that may help pull them up a bit more. These photos were taken without a belt.

Really like both for a short term closet update. The skinnies look good and the color is fab. I lvoe the booties! Fun pointy toe in animal print. I can see these ebing workhorses for you!

I like both for you. The colour of the skinnies is perfect and I like the scrunched. I know exactly what you mean by the booties making your feet look long because I suffer from that perception for myself. I never see it on others so I believe it is from looking downwards toward your feet.
These look fresh and modern and a great addition for the fall!

Love the sized up skinnies. I like the scrunch, though I wouldn't mind if there was a tad less... which would be the case if you belted them. I think the booties are a keeper too, not too pointy at all.

I like the booties and I I think they work with skinnies. I love the color of the jeans but I was also concerned about the dropped crotch. Maybe size back down just a little?

Joy, I actually think the dropped crotch point makes you a little more rock chic, and very fab A belt is probably good for less rocky days.

Ingunn, I had been looking at these photos on my iPhone and just switched to iPad to post another question on the forum. The larger format really showed me the droop more clearly. I think a belt helps, I hope enough. I really appreciate that you pointed this out
