K/R: burgundy Fluevogs (plus gratuitous orange)

I just got these Fluevogs (Gracias) in the mail. They are sooo comfy! But what do you think about the style--is it versatile? Or do they look dated at all? But you know me, into funky stuff...

And i happened to be wearing orange pants today so I though of annagybe's thread about orange + burgundy being in colors

ETA: The gap looks huge but I think it is smaller IRL; it doesn't look like it but I am leaning forward to get shot #1

DeclawedJaguar -- I noticed the gap in the pics; they are a half-size up than my normal size, but I need the extra width to accommodate my bunions (I know, probably TMI!)

I agree with Ceit. Fluevogs are always distinctive, and I think just become part of a funky style. I get compliments whenever I wear mine, and I have no plans to stop wearing any of them, even though the oldest ones are 4-5 years old. I actually think they've aged better than some other shoes I bought around the same time.

I like them! But I do not love them, Cathy. I think it's the colour. They look brown on my screen and not burgundy at all.

Oooh, I think they're cool. I was eyeing them, actually, although I wanted the mustard color which is I think sold out, so I'm glad to see them on someone's feet! I like them with the orange pants.

They are Fluevogs so by definition they are not cool. However, you have to LOVE them.

I have a few pairs of Fluevogs I bought on deep sale, which while still awesome, are just not getting used that often. I have some Fluevogs bought at close to full price that are workhorses for me and I thought about them for a year before buying. If I had forgone the just ok shoes, I could have bought another pair of perfect shoes.

Fluevogs are not inexpensive. If you love them, keep them, wear them, enjoy them. If you don't, send them back so you can find something you love.

I like them on your feet, and with the orange pants, too! Having just bought my first pair of 'Vogs, and having just visited the Melrose store, this week, I love them for their quirkiness and their comfort. I'd say "keep" and "style away."

Thanks again everyone for your honest feedback!

I've been wearing them around the house and there's one part that unfortunately a bit uncomfortable across the top of my foot. We'll see if that's a deal breaker.

Meanwhile, I may have accidentally on purpose ordered the Anyi Lu booties. Patience's photos sent me over the edge!
