I picked up this sheer chiffon blouse yesterday at H&M. I really love the cherry blossom print. The background is that very light blush color that basically looks like cream on me, but I think the print makes it a lot easier for me to wear than a solid blush blouse. It's quite an oversized fit as you can see from the pictures with arms out. The sleeves have elastic at the bottoms so they can be worn either long (first 2 pics) or pushed up. I can't wear them in between as they don't stay up unless they're pushed past my elbows.

Anyway, I'm trying it here with BF jeans and skinnies, semi-tucked or untucked. I've also tried it with the buttons open.

Questions:
--is it too boxy/oversized? Are the wide sleeves overwhelming?
--what do you think of the length and straight hem when untucked? It is slightly longer in back, by the way.

--does it work with BFs? Or do I need to stick to slim pants with this?

Bonus picture with my other purchases from yesterday. An abstract print faux wrap tunic (well, H&M thinks it's a dress...) that reminds me of allsaints for a fraction of the price, and a floral tee that is a similar shape (wide on top, narrow on the bottom) as my older watercolor print H&M tee.

ETA: OK, back from work now and I tried it with some other things - olive pants, tweed skirt (seasonally confused maybe?), VC tube skirt, and short black knit pencil skirt. Some are with sleeves scrunched, and others with them full length. Do any of these work?

I have discovered that the majority of my skirts won't work as most of them have bold colors and patterns that clash with the softer palette of the blouse.

Oh, and I am wearing a nude tank in the new photos (as opposed to the black tee in the original set) which makes it look disconcertingly like I'm wearing nothing underneath in some of the photos. Maybe a white tank next time, LOL.
