I ran out today and did some power shopping to start work again on Monday after my wonderful six month maternity leave. The bottom line is that clothes don't fit me quite the same as before even though my weight is pretty much the same as pre-pregnancy. I have bottoms covered--a couple of bootcut jeans, white skinnies, blue combat trousers, light blue BFs, and white BFs on the way. My work is very casual, overly warm even in mild weather, and I have to nevertheless keep as covered as possible.

I bought three tops.

(1) a floaty polyester blouse that I asked about recently. Is the print too large for me or does it work? I am wearing a black cami here, but normally I would wear white.

(2) white peasant-esque top that seems to work okay over my enormous shelf-like bosom. As the pleating is not too elaborate it should iron quickly and the neckline doesn't show my bra straps (yay).

(3/4) gray and white mesh t-shirt. Thought this would work with my navy trousers, white denim, and grey denim. sheer. zipper at the neck. Would normally wear white under this.

(5-6) bonus what I wore today. One of the few lightweight tops (linen knit) that currently works well.

(7-8) Did not buy this but still considering it. I would so love to find a lovely peach top. This was a thick, shortsleeve knit but I wasn't sure if the neckline was deep enough to offset said shelf-like bosom.

These tops needed to be warm-weather friendly, nursing/pumping friendly, easy care. I probably wouldn't have bought these tops under normal conditions because I am not in love with anything, but I just need to get dressed in the morning and look okay. Nevertheless I don't want to waste money and it's not like I am going to have to show up naked if I don't have anything new. Thoughts?
