Hi all! I need help making a decision about these shoes. I bought them because I have a possibly immediate need for shoes to wear to a funeral. Stilettos do not feel appropriate in this instance, or fresh. I am not comfortable looking at block heels on me. These look super-frumpy in the catalog pics and in hand (like big 'ole wide boats, really), but I think they look more flattering on the foot. The shoes I really want are the Aquatalia "Phoebe" but those are 3X what I would be willing to spend, so, not an option. Although I feel as though "if you have to ask, then you already know the answer," I'm wondering if you think they are frumpy or OK?
