Braving myself to post a picture which I find so difficult because when I see them I don't feel good about myself. Is this normal? Yikes. Here is the jacket that I am quite undecided on. I like the colour but I feel a bit dumpy. Ladies tell me what you think.

I am not a fit expert, so I will let others weigh in, but I like the jacket on you, and the shirt underneath looks very nice too

I like it on you, Glory! I do see the same "wrinkly" issue that I noticed with Shannon's - is this likely to fall out with the heat of your body? And how do you feel (physically) with pleather? I think the fit looks quite good on you and the colour would be fun.

Mine wasn't too wrinkly -- I think that was more from shipping than anything.

So, I like this on you, but I am not sold on pleather.

It may be that I run HOT in pleather. I normally do not run hot at all, but pleather makes me really warm. But, I really appreciate the ability to test drive a style without a huge investment.

I am also worried about the wrinkles. You can't iron pleather, and they would drive me bats. A reason no linen is in my wardrobe.

I totally think that this will work for Spring and into fall.

How does it mesh with your wradrobe?

The fit is great, but the sleeves seem a little long. can you fold them over. I vote keep!

I am wondering if a few minutes in a low dryer would help with the wrinkling issue?

I think it looks amazing! Isn't supposed to be wrinkly? Like a washed leather effect? I don't see dumpy at ALL, the jacket looks wonderfully structured on your shape.

The fit is lovely on you Glory, other than the sleeves being a tad long. I would just either roll them once or scrunch them up. The pleather does have a bit of texture to it which comes across in pics as wrinkly, but it isn't quite that wrinkly IRL. I vote keep with the sleeve issue dealt with.

I like the length of the body- where it hits at your hip. Nice length for pants.

The sleeves are probably an inch longer that perfect, but will you scrunch them? Sometimes the frumpy feeling goes away with scrunching the sleeves. (at least it does for me, and ihave no idea why

Will that tab at the neck bother you? (it would bother me, but not sure if it would be a deal breaker. The pleather might be a deal breaker for *me*, but that's *me*.)

You look great, Glory. And yes, I certainly have trouble viewing myself in pictures. We often see our flaws so quickly. I don't see "dumpy" at all. I see a well-proportioned woman wearing a great jacket that brings light to her face. The more you post, the easier it gets. And yes, while the mirror lies andt so does the camera, it is helpful to snap pics and post regularly.

I second the sleeve issue, but it's not major.

Ladies I still have the tags on and am going back and forth. This is pretty normal for me as I have a tough time spending money on updating items when older items still have life. I am sure I am not alone here but that is another thread.
So I have a window of about one week to return. Am not asking anyone in my house....based on previous experiences.
any additional weigh ins on K/R much appreciated.

I like the way it looks a lot! But the tab at the neck would bother me. If it doesn't bother you, keep!

The only fit problem I see is that the sleeves look a little long. Can you shorten or scrunch them?

It is hard to "see" ourselves but posting WIWs really works:)

I notice your original post is a week old ... what did you decide to do with the jacket?

By the way, I don't like having my picture taken, either, unless it's under highly-controlled situations. Just random, candid pics (even WIWs!) ... ugh, no thanks.

Well I like it on you. Not dumpy at all! Put on your sleekest, body-con top and bottom (or catsuit!) and then try the jacket on top, with the sleeves turned back and see if you feel any better about it. I really like the white on you. And yes, I am often happy as a clam until I download my pics onto the computer and then...well, lets just say I look better as a figment of my own imagination!

Thanks ladies. Anne I am still undecided. Not sure why - I am wondering if I am a bit too old for it. If I will make good use of it. If it is too trendy on me. It is my usual indeciveness at play
