K/R Bellatrix blouse?

I'm not sure if this XS is too big for me and I don't know about the color. One minute I like it and the next I'm no so sure. If kept, what color bottoms? Thanks for your input.

Hm, it feels a little big to me. I know it is meant to be oversized/slouchy, but I guess I'm too sensitive to "oversized" items on us shorties because it can look unintentional. That's why I love the Nexx so much - slouchy but still feels proportional.

If you do decide to keep, I think the colors would go well either with these indigo jeans as shown or with white - plus a cami to match the jeans to prevent grinning.

Thanks. You may be right as the shoulder seams do drop off. I'm also oddly weirded out by the strong pattern difference from the front to the back!

Hmm, I like the colors, but the shoulder fit is bugging me as well. I like Rae's suggestion about bottoms.

Vicki, the shoulder seams bothers me, but then perhaps this is intentional in the design? To be honest I don't love this on you. I like it but if it were me I wouldn't feel this was a must have addition to your closet. I say don't settle, if you don't love it, don't keep it:)

I actually think it looks OK on you. I tried this blouse months ago and returned it because I thought it was laughably huge on me, but it looks OK on you - are you just a bit taller than I am ? (5' 1")

My only concern about the fit was in the shoulders, Vicki. Otherwise I would not be concerned about it being roomy. As for the color, print and style, I think those are dead on. I have admired this blouse for some time, and seeing it on you makes me like it even more. The colors are beautiful and I think you'll be able to wear it with an array of bottoms. I give it a thumbs up.

Yeah, to me this looked like a top that is supposed to be oversized, shoulders included. You aren't swimming in it, and when it's worn down it is soft enough that we can still see some shape definition. And the colors are beeeautiful!

I'm not bothered by the dropped shoulder, as looking at the proportions through bust and waist and hip, the shoulder 'slouch' is clearly intentional and well managed in the cut.

What I have slight reservations about is the length --- I might have preferred a smidge shorter to show off more of your gorgeous legs; but it is possible that what's actually bugging me is the high contrast between top and bottom, which Angie's suggestion of white pants could sort out readily.

I like it. I think the colors are nice on you, and I actually don't mind the difference in pattern from front to back -- on the contrary, I actually like that the back is a little bit of a surprise.

The shoulders don't bother me, as it seems obvious this is meant to be oversized and slouchy. The fabric is light and drapey enough that it doesn't look like it overwhelms you. I could see it with a white tank underneath and white jeans to keep the line long and unbroken.

I love this blouse on you untucked. It is slouchy and a bit deliberately oversized - I don't think tucking goes with its vibe.
