K/R Are Trouser Jeans still ok?

I don't REALLY need more jeans, but these seemed a good option for work on Fridays. I try to keep it semi business-like with either a jacket or dark wash jeans in as I may have to meet with VPs and don't want to be too embarrassed by my casualness.

Sorry pics not great I tried to lighten enough, but these are Kut trouser jeans and I think PPL with my Kelsi Dagger Genelle wedges (yes I bought the orange ones too after the nude/black ones) The top is a recent Gap purchase for a basic top so not what I'd wear with these (I bought the top in this blush, ivory and navy because it's drapey and soft and cool for summer - oh and they were about $11 each. Pics 3-4 are the ivory with some slouchy pants (final sale) that will likely be loungewear, but so comfy I might bring them out for something.
So please advise on the jeans. They were on sale, but still $50.

I am personally a big fan of trouser jeans and still wear mine in situations similar to the one you describe. They look very good on you and I would keep them. Love the cream top!

KILLER slouchy pants!

I vote size up on the trouser jeans. They have great potential.

I like trouser jeans especially for work. Will they ever really be out of style? I sure hope not. I wonder if we think that because the fashion blogger world is so obsessed with skinny jeans? But Angie is not so I think we trust her
The slouchy pants are fun and I like your comfy top idea - Gap tops are so soft usually. It's nice length for the half tuck.

I also like the trouser jeans and think a size up may be perfect. I find this style of jeans the perfect mix of casual and dressier and they are so versatile.

I think you will find the trouser jeans great (sizing up probably for a more professional fit) since you have so many lovely heels. I find mine hard to do with flats. Score on the new gap tops!

Take those slouchy pants out of the house - they look great. I like the trouser jeans too. I didn't notice a fit issue but if Angie says size up I would give that a try.

Isn't the very point of trouser jeans to de-casualize denim? I should hope they pass muster at your workplace!

I like the jean trousers and I think they would be perfect for casual Fridays. Perhaps size up as Angie suggests and I think you are on a winner.

Both those tops are just lovely. I would imagine they will be quite versatile.

I should have considered with the jeans they should fit like I would want actual trousers to fit and sized up. I was fitting them like jeans which I prefer to usually be more snug due to stretch during the day. FIngers crossed they have my next size.

Question though, now that the slouchy pants are being encouraged for casual wear as opposed to loungewear suggestions on how do I style them? They are a very lightweight material (which is good for summer) with the elastic ankles (they are a tall which is probably why I prefer the length and was able to put on 3 inch wedges for this shot and still have a bit of scrunch. Should I wear flats?

I love trouser jeans. I have a pair by GAp that I alternate with those COHEN flares I posted recently, for casual Fridays. My trousers fit a little looser but the COH are snug. Hopefully they have the next size. You look amazing.
I'll be taking notes on the slouchy trousers.

I think the slouchy pants would look great with a wedge heel/jute sole. The trouser jeans look fantastic; a size up will give you a smidge more length, too. Nice tops too. Smart to duplicate something like that. The soft colors are very pretty with your complexion.
