K/R Ankle Boots

The forcast is 103 degrees (F) today, but I got fall shoes on my mind.

What do we think of these boots? I still luv my black SE Petty, but I wanted something to bookend browns and olives.

Does cuffing the skinnies look funny with the boots?
Too much ankle gap? I have skinny ankles, so I am fine with a bit of gap, but let me know if it seems like too much.
Any of these stylings look OK?

Love these booties, AJ, and I really like them on you, too. It does look like a fair bit of gap from the sides. A little bit of the "I put my mommy's shoes on" effect. From the front I don't notice it much. So I don't know what to think. Love them especially with the jeans. I think cuffing is fine because it's low contrast.

I really like them in the first shot of 2, but not as much in the far right. So, I don't know what to say. They do look a bit gappy from the site, but fine from the front.

They are really cute boots. Love them with your jeans. They gaping doesn't really bother me but even if you don't like it too much I think they go well enough with jeans that they're worth keeping.

I am not looking at the other responses first. They're really cute and I want to like them, but my first impression is that they look big on you with the skirt/dress. They look great with jeans.

That ankle gap would make me crazy. I have a weird issue about that, being so bony in the ankle department. So, poison eye abstain?

What about an ankle boot just a wee bit higher. When the "gapping" is a little higher on the ankle -- by even 1 or 2 inches, I think it works better. Of course, this comes from someone who has never had a gap problem (more like a zip problem) with boots!
