I've purchased some new spring toppers. These are not "styled," but I'd like some feedback.

1/2 Chambray jacket -- Croft and Barrow, Kohls.

3. BR Outlet -- my dd helped pick this out. Would dress up or down

4/5 BR Outlet -- Bosom alert! Is this too much boobage, also this displays my "generous" arms. This silhouette isn't as new, but it does fit my romantic side, and I love the dots.

6/7 WIW today -- new top, Apt. 9 Kohls. I tried two terrific silver bracelets with this, but took them off. Decided less is more. I'm also attempting a "semi-tuck" with this "python" print. I can't believe I'm actually all neutral and liking it!

Hmmm...can you keep them all? Because honestly, I like all those looks!

If you're uncomfortable with the polka-dot top (though I really like that one), could you layer a cardi over it?

ETA: You *must* keep the python shirt...it looks especially amazing, and will work with many different items.

Thanks, Sunita! Yes, I can keep them all. What a treat! And I have a several cardis and jackets to work with the polka dots, too. I trying to accept my own silhouette here. As you know, we're all programmed to believe there is only one size for beauty.

Yes, I know what you mean Beth Ann...we all have issues (whether real or perceived) with our own bodies.

I really like all of these and the new tops are a definite KEEP! The Kohl's stuff fits you so nicely. I never have luck there!

These are great - the only one I"m not sure about is the polka dot top. Everything else is amazing. Love the python shirt!

Thumbs up to all but 4/5. You arms have a great shape but due to the color/pattern/whatever, the arms on the shirt look a little too short to me. It would still be nice under a jacket though, and you could still take the jacket off if it were just too warm.

Thanks, all, for your feedback. So nice to have spring clothes on for a change, and I think I'll keep all, though I've yet to style them. I've not had any more luck with pants, though. Too short. Too big. Too Tight. Too cheap. Too expensive --- I'm Goldilocks in everything but hair and they need to be just right! (Found that Gap pants look heinous on me today, sorry for the rant!)

Blonda: I'm working on a theory -- there is a technique for seeing the best in every store. I have Kohls down pat -- and I try on lots and quickly -- picking maybe one item in twelve. Oh, and the vanity sizing is my friend ;} I'm learning to maneuver my BR outlet and the nearby Marshalls and am hopeful that I can learn from Angie how to case out Zara and the Rack the same way. I wish I could find the luck at AT Loft that many do -- everything is so, well....short. Short little sweaters, teeny little skirts. Definitely for my petite sisters!

Like everyone else, I absolutely love, love, love the python blouse on you. To me, the chambray jacket is merely okay, but I don't really feel it does you justice. The buttons are too small or something and its various elements aren't curvy enough. I wouldn't say that the cut is particularly masculine or anything, but I think a more feminine cut and a slightly bluer blue would bring it up to a 10. Or I could see you rock a floral or polka dot jacket.

Jeans shopping is exhausting, isn't it? The other day I returned a pair of online purchased jeans that I would have kept as absolutely perfect last year -- because they failed to meet the PPL test if I wear a bit of a heel. Hey, this is money saved!

I especially LOVE the neutral smartness of #1 and #4, which conversely come across as the boldest looks of the lot (column of denim and animal print reading as especially on-trend?). The polka dots are soo soothingly summery (I'm gasping at 95 degrees here, so THANK you for this visual comforter!) and your daughter has great feminine taste! I'm wondering how that top would look with a layer of plum or wine red underneath, or contrasted with teal...so many possibilities there!
