K/R A plea for Decisiveness

I have had these two jackets for almost two weeks trying to make a decision. They are both navy blue, and they are both wool and fully lined. The color is almost identical.

I really don't think I need to duplicate a navy blue topper at this point, but I am having a tough time choosing between them!!

Topper #1 - buttons under the girls I think it makes a nive V both opened and closed.

Topper #2 - I could only really wear opened, but I think it makes a nice long line.

So I ask you fabulous and fashionable ladies for your help! Jacket 1, Jacket 2, or I should keep looking altogether!

I like 1 better, both open and closed. The sleeves look a bit long though.

Do you plan to wear this jacket with skirts or with pants? The second jacket looks far too long to pair with skirts/dresses to me. The first jacket is a bit shorter and looks OK with this skirt, but I would rather see something more cropped there. It looks like a good length for pants though. How is the shoulder in #1? It looks wider than #3 but that could just be photo trickery.

I think the first one would work with a little bit of tweaking. The sleeves look just a bit long. Would you consider altering them?
The second jacket does not do you justice and I vote return.
You are a real trooper in trying to get your closet in shape!

I'm tempted to say keep looking. #1 is really quite nice, but when it's buttoned - think the waist is not where your waist is.

The shoulders in #1 are wider than #3.

Aida - I wear a lot of pants. I try to pick the warmest day of the week and that is the day I wear a skirt. I bought my first skirt in 10+ years after joining YLF!

If you primarily plan to wear the blazer with pants, I'd say it's worth photographing with a pair. Skirts and dresses usually require shorter jackets, though of course as with all guidelines they're just that. I think that skirt looks fab on you, and a shorter cheekier jacket is what you deserve with it

Ah, I am not sure if either one is it. The first one seems to be a smidgen too long for skirts although it is working here with the midi skirt. The longer skirt is correcting the longer jacket, as if the overall proportions have been elongated. however, it might look a bit long with a shorter skirt or dress. It is going to work with pants though.

I'm not sure that the second is showcasing your tiny waist in the best possible way.

If you must keep one, I definitely vote #1

#1. It accentuates those lovely curves of yours, but do have the sleeves shortened a bit.

Another vote for #1 if you must keep one of these, but just the fact that you are indecisive suggests that you should return both and keep looking. When you find the right jacket you won't let it sit in your closet, but want to wear it right away.
