Hello everyone. I’m sending this one from my phone so I will be brief. What do you think of these pieces? All from Shopbop. I will try to add links or finds later.
1-2. Amo turtleneck. In pale lavender.
3-4. Flow-y skirt and top from Nation. Both satin. The skirt is deep plumb while the top is a bright pinky purple. All colors I love and reach for a lot. I have built my wardrobe around these colors.
5-6. How to style the skirt? I know it’s not too flattering but it feels great. The satin top shown in 3-4 is new but all the other looks are owned so not K/R. Just some ideas here for casual hot weather looks. To tuck or not? Do you have any other styling ideas?

You have a great figure and look great in everything. I like the skirt best in #5 with the top pulled in to define your waist. A shortish top with a defined bottom elastic or knit ( I forget what Angie calls this style) could work.

I actually quite like photo #3 - it doesn't sound like it should work in theory but, both the top and the skirt follow a similar hemline (inverse U shape, so the ends are longer than the middle), so this looks a lot more flattering in reality than an untucked top with a horizontal hem (cutting across the hips).

Agreeing with Joy that you have great figure and 1,2 and 5 show it best. I think the drape of the fabric in 3 is more flattering than 4. Thinking that your new items are the turtleneck, the pleated detail top and the skirt? I like them all voting keep!

Yes Phoebe those are the three new items under consideration.

Zaeobi-The items from 3 are the same brand so it make sense they would go together. They both do need a good pressing though.

Thanks Joy for that suggestion. Angie calls these tops with welted bottoms.

Love that turtleneck but my fave is the flowy skirt with the new satin blouse. I think those skirts are so practical and fun to wear--you can dress them up or down. Length is perfect too! YLF!

Angie- Yes Good suggestion I will try to fold down the turtle neck. It’s made for longer necks than mine but I couldn’t resist the color and puffed shoulders. I can use all the help I can get in that area.

And thanks for the additional styling suggestions. I will try a tied blouse instead of t shirt. I saw that Anine Bing skirt on sale yesterday but decided I don’t want any more black.

Great turtleneck ! I'm always envious of those women who can wear them. I , on the other hand, actually look like a turtle.

Love the two new pieces too - colours are hard to discern on my screen but prefer the top tucked or tied. OMG - can I not dress in Anine Bing every day all day ??

Style Fan - thank you, I am a bit self conscious in a t neck because it is so fitted and my neck is not long. But I do like that t-necks cover my aged neck. Will be an exercise in self-acceptance.

Sal - they finally opened Yosemite so sales are picking up. Good thing because my operating losses over the past two months have been staggering.

Kellygirl - I was shocked that the skirt wasn't too long. You can wear it higher or lower on the waist to adjust length so that helps. There is one skirt left in a size S if you are interested!

I love the volume on volume of the top-with-skirt. It absolutely works to my eye. You look gorgeous. It also looks nice tucked, and so would another top.

I like the turtleneck, too.

Thank you Suz. The pictures are awful I took them late at night but thanks for saying I look gorgeous because I am so not gorgeous. But I am grateful to be healthy and to be able to use my $1200 stimulus check on my passion for fashion instead of having to buy groceries with the money.

You look fabulous! I would fold the turtle neck just a bit - am in Lisa's look like a turtle camp so will live vicariously through you. I like the skirt best with the tie at the waist. Colors are excellent!

Agree that the turtleneck could do with a slight fold, but just a smidge - everything else (eg shoulders & arm length) fits well.

Glad the Nation look works for you, too. I guess what I was getting at is that tying or tucking the hem of the other tops works well (especially if they have a horizontal hem) but that particular 'handkerchief hem' top should be left untucked because of the flatteringly curved hem shape. Just my opinion

CocoLion you look beautiful. You live near Yosemite? I visited there when I was 12 (so MANY years ago) and was wowed by how beautiful the park was. It was the highlight for me, even better than Disneyland - and that says something, because at 12 Disneyland was pretty fantastic too.

New skirt and top are lovely - soft, flowy and elegant. Love Angie's styling suggestions.
