K/R a Crop of Cardigans

Now that my self-imposed shopping ban is over, it's time to start filling in the gaps for spring! First on the list is toppers....

#1-4: Old Navy Lightweight Crew Neck Cardigan, Petite sz M; with my cobalt twirly dress in 1-3 and a skirt+blouse in 4

#5-12: BR Open Stitch Cardigan in Stone, sz S; with my cobalt twirly dress in 6-8, skirt and blouses in 9-10, and casually in 12

BR Moto Zip Sweater, Petite sz M; with my cobalt twirly dress in 14-16, skirt and blouse in 17, and casually in 18

What do you think? How is the fit and proportion of these, particularly with the dress? Any keepers in the bunch?

IMO, the last one with the zip is best with the dress, although it also looks good with the outfit in #17. The first one is probably too long with the dress (though belting it helps), but it looks fab in #4 to my eye. And I am not terribly fond of the second sweater regardless of how it is worn. I'd keep the last one for sure.

The first is my fave - the 3rd would be my #2 pick. I agree there is something about the middle one that is not quite as nice - but to be honest, they all look great, so if you have a fave, keep that one - or keep them all!

Between you and Day Vies, I need to go to ON for some cardis!!

I wondered about the colors, too - none of these seem particularly flattering on you but it could be the lighting, because they look quite different in the stock photos. I like the second two, but am not particularly moved by the first.

My first instinct is that they all work, but I like the other two better than the first because they have a bit more shape and structure, plus interesting details.

I prefer 1 and 3, I think the 3/4 sleeves are throwing me off of #2, but that sleeve length is never my favourite...but they all fit you really well!

I like all of them. I prefer the last one casually. The other two look nice for work.

I like the easy fit of #1 though 2&3 are shorter and a bit better for a dress.
I'm wondering about the colors, too. The cardi's read as beige of sorts but you're pairing with cobalt. Why so neutral and not as " cool"

Thanks for lending me your eyes! Regarding the colours, the light in my photo spot is rather warm. The first cardigan is a cool silvery grey, the second is a cool-toned beige per the stock photo, and the last is straight-up grey a little darker than the stock photo IMO.

The first cardigan was <$20, fits well, and feels nice. The knit is light but layers well over my silk and sleeveless blouses. I previously had an Anna cardigan in a similar shape and colour from BR which has worn terribly and needs to go, so I'll be keeping this one.

The open stitch cardigan was actually my favourite of the three. I like the length for me - it is quite short though it is not petite. I worry that the shoulders may be a bit small, though. I did like the colour over my black and white blouses but am not sure it plays well with my dress. I came pretty close to keeping it, but I think I will send it back for now and maybe try in a bigger size and possibly in black next time I am in Banana Republic.

The moto cardigan I really wanted to like, and the fit is okay, though I feel like I maybe have linebacker shoulders in it. Unfortunately, I have a a quirk wherein I cannot abide anything touching my throat (loose scarves = yes, turtlenecks = never) and the rounded snaps on the collar do just that whether the sweater is open or closed. :< Boourns.
