K/R 4 summer tops

Much to my frustration, there is still very little in terms of spring or summer clothes in the shops, but I found these:

#1 - How do these 2 tops work with the tube skirts? K/R?

#2 - This is a silk top and feels wonderful on. I also love the colours. K/R?

#3 - This is a knitted top and I will have to wear a camisole with it. This is a medium. The large was quite a bit longer, but otherwise too big. The look that I am really after is the one in #4. Should I keep looking for something that fits better?

Sanet, you look radiant!! I adore the fuchsia and plum tops with your tube skirts and would love to find something similar! Easy, breezy, and the curved hem at front helps the proportions. Beautiful.

Are they silk or poly? That might be my only concern -- temperature control.

The next top is GORGEOUS on you. Superb colours and will also transition beautifully as a fall piece at the end of your summer.

I love the last top on you as well, but it's true the fit is different from your inspiration pic's. I'm not sure I would like that as well, however, since the volume would not be as reined in and could overpower. I guess you'll have to wear the top for a few hours and test your comfort factor. I love the colour and subtle shine and think it suits you. Might also work with the tube skirt.

I think you've nailed the look in the silk and knitted tops. The pink and purple tops don't seem to have the sleeve volume you're looking for when compared with your "aspirational" top.

#2 is Fantastic! Both tops in #1 are great too but for #3 I'd keep looking I think.

You look lovely in all these outfits Sanet...the tube skirts with pink n purple tops look great together...that silk top and the knit top semi tucked with rolled jeans is my fav!! I see some inspiration here for myself!

Suz - Unfortunately the pink and purple tops are polyester. I haven't seen anything close to this style in any other fabric yet. These will do for now and I will keep looking for something in a better fabric.

As for the knit top in #3 - I will check the store's return policy and keep it for as long as possible. In the meantime I will look for something similar that fits better. I am also worried that, with the camisole, it might be too hot to wear during the day in summer.

It's hard for me to see anything but how great you look in #2! #3 is great too except for the camisole issue. I wouldn't keep a summer top I had to layer. I love the silhouette in 1 but find the colors in 2 so flattering that it's hard to compare them.

You look amazing, especially in the first 3 tops! I think the knit top looks good, too, but if you have to wear a cami under it, maybe it is not very practical?

The first two tops in #1 are good but the top in #2 is incredible.

#3 looks fine and you make it work but like it a lot less than the tops from #1/#2. I'd pass on this one.

Well, the stores may not have a lot of selection left, but you sure managed to find some gems! I like it all and think they'll be practical in addition to modern and beautiful.

As for fabrics and heat, I find that not all polyesters are the same. Some seem to not breath at all but others seems to allow air to circulate air pretty well. The open air hole and loose torso will make a difference in these tops, I think.
