K/R 2 Tops and a Purse - YouLookFab Forum

First I want to say that I need to fire my photographer. These pictures are terrible, but I don't feel like getting dressed in these clothes again.

Thanks to all who chimed in on this thread http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/kr-new-purse. I am going to keep that purse. While I was trying to decide I looked again at Winner's and found this green purse I did a bit of additional birthday shopping and found some tops. I've pretty much decided on some others, but am not sure on these. I just quickly styled them and they don't necessarily need to go with the pants/shoes that I have on in the pictures I was just trying to get an idea of how I would wear them.

1-3 Teal sheer blouse by some unknown brand.
4-5 Teal cotton T by French Connection. I kindof like that it's a loose cotton T for the summer, but does it look dated?
6-7 Green purse, which I'm pretty sure I'm keeping.

So, what do you think? Keep or Return?

I really like the first blouse (teal tie front on you!) I have not made that type of blouse work for me but it looks great on you! I am not wlld about the second top but it's not bad. The green bag is fun!

I really like the first blouse - fit and colour is lovely. I'm afraid I don't care for the second blouse. The colour is nice but the seam under the bust doesn't work to my eye and it seems almost too short for you.

Thanks DeeDee, Meredith and Shannon. I think you are right about the second top. I think I was getting sucked in with it feeling comfortable. I agree that it isn't very fab.

I really like your teal blouse in 1-3 and loved those patterned jeans. If you don't think the second tops works as well, have you thought about trying it with the white bottoms or the ones in the first photos? As for 6-7, the entire outfit is fab and I'm so glad you're keeping this purse. p.s. I also love the kitty in the other link, who's sharing the mirror with you!).

I agree with the others, the first teal blouse and the bag are all keepers! I vote return on the second top, something else more fab will present itself to you ... soon! (I foresee it in my crystal shopping ball.)

I love the first blouse and you are the first person I have seen to make that tie at the front look good:). The second top I am finding the color not so flattering and you MUST keep that bag.

Hmm. Minority of one, but I like the smock shape of #2 and its promise of comfort, whereas I have a case of poison eye for those 'tail between the legs' tops (I don't mind the tie being higher, on the waist; but this length sort of flummoxes me.)

Lol Manidipa about the returns! That second top is going back, but I know what you mean about the comfort factor, that's what was sucking me in about it, but I think I won't wind up wearing it that much because it won't make me feel fab. I appreciate your support on it, though!
