This is the coat I had mentioned I had orderer at the end of my other post. It disappeared from the website directly after I ordered it, so it seems I got the very last one. So it's either keep or return, no other size available. It's a leftover from last year which was on sale and I had some additional markdown from a sales promotion they had going on, so this coat is a whopping 160€ (instead of 270€ originally). I suspect this is pretty much as good as it's going to get for an ethically produced wool coat price wise.

(As for the pictures, please excuse the hair, it's still partly wet and I desperately need a cut. I forgot to instantly make an appointment after my holidays and now I still have over a week left before my next cut.)

All the pics are overexposed so you can see the details better. The coat is a nice mottled navy blue, with lovely texture. And much more substantial than the last one!

#1-2
Just thrown over the jeans I was wearing. As you can see the sleeves are too long and would need to be shortened. They are also rather wide, so I could if possible have the sleeves slimmed down a bit at the same time.

#3
Sleeves rolled in and collar done up.

#4-5
With my cashmere wristwarmers and plaid winter scarf.

#6-7
Collar worn open with different scarf and a straight cut skirt.

#8
With a shorter flared skirt.

#9
Longer flared skirt.

#10-11
Simulating warmer temperatures with the coat left open, a thin pullover, a more lightweight flippy skirt and less stompy shoes.

I'm a pear and this coat shape seems to be not the best match following the rules, but it is definitely easy. The raglan sleeves aren't the best in terms of figure flattery and accentuate my sloping shoulders, but at the same time I love them because getting shoulders, waist and hips right in a fitted coat is a real pain. I also instantly felt comfortable with this because it's the kind of coat I remember my mum always wore when I was a little kid. Not sure if it looks too oversized, though? I have no idea how this is supposed to fit. Going with price, warmth and comfort level I'd say this one is a keeper, but am I right?

I you made it to the end, thanks. What do you think? Any and all thoughts welcome.
