K/R - two jackets - YouLookFab Forum

In my quest for a blue jacket, I found this one at Marshalls for $25. I'm pretty sure I'm keeping it - but tell me what you think of the shirts underneath. In pic #1 I think the stripe shirt peeking out the bottom makes the jacket look OK with jeans, but is the neckline OK? The second pic is just a white scoop neck tank, which I thought would look sloppy untucked, but I'm not sure I care for the column of denim effect.

Pic #3 - this is a jacket I found at Anthropologie. I felt like it made me look really skinny, but in the pics I'm not sure I like it on me. I also had a hard time figuring out what to put underneath. The top in the photo was the only one I own that I didn't immediately rule out. I don't see myself wearing the jacket like the girl on the Anthro site:

I really like the first jacket and agree its a keeper.

I like the second jacket as well but not as much as the first.

I love the way you've styled the jacket it #1 with the darker denim jeans and the printed shirt. There's a bit of contrast but still a nice monochromatic look. I'm not as fond of #2 just because the jeans are so close in colour to the jacket. I like the jacket in #3 well enough, but it seems to be pulling at the bust - maybe that's just the way you're standing?

It's the way I'm standing - the fit is really perfect. I loved it in the store - but I feel like I won't truly love it if I don't find a great way to wear it, and for the price I need to be fully committed.
