Such thoughtful responses.
Mochi, you made my day. I had a really bad squint as a child and wore an eye patch for many years and for that reason have always felt a little awkward with my looks. I am always surprised to receive a compliment on my looks but it also puts a spring in my step.
I loved this jacket from the moment I saw it in early December but with a price tag of £60.00 the money was not readily available at that time. When it appeared in the sale I knew I had to sample the look.
I think the piece may have earned a spot in my wardrobe, I expect I can use it as an experiment in bold and graphic and at a £15.00 sale price really have nothing to lose.
Thank you Suz and Mochi, I will need to take a look at how I can adapt my make-up to balance the jacket and play with colours to see what works. Anna I do like a bright blue and an emerald so I have a starting point.
I will consider when I wear the jacket, as Thistle pointed out I may fade into the background when wearing the item so I must use a little caution.
But for now the jacket will hang in wardrobe, there are no closures on the jacket which makes it a spring piece for me.
Shannon, I will try to style the jacket and repost, you will probably be tired of seeing the piece by the time it makes it into rotation
Thank you again for your comments, it is great to have another set of eyes when trying something new.
