K/R - Perfect Black Jacket

I have been in search of the perfect black jacket. The topper that is a wardrobe staple and workhorse.

I finally pulled the trigger on a Cliassiques Entiers jacket, but I am not sure it is perfect. And it has to be to justify the price and earn a place in my wardrobe. I am really looking for a 9.5 or better for the jacket to get to stay, so please be honest.

It pulls when closed, so I would have to wear it open.

Black is so difficult to see sometimes. From what I CAN see, this looks awfully close if the sleeves are shortened a bit. Then again, I'm no good at proportion so I don't know if the length fits your rating criteria : )

Would it be for pants or dresses/skirts primarily? It would be easier to tell the fit if the top underneath were lighter in color. From what I can see, it look fine, but the sleeves are too long. What does the back view look like? And are you satisfied with only wearing it open?

It's so hard to photograph black to show the details. Looks good to me, though! It looks like a good fit in the shoulders, which is key, and I see no wrinkling on the sleeves (which would indicate fit issues there), so all that is good! I like the way it looks over that gorgeous top on you. I agree the sleeves could be shortened a little, but that's doable.

Yes, I'm having trouble seeing it too. From what I can tell, it's a nice jacket but nowhere near a 9.5.
