I ordered these two swimsuits from Target and surprisingly they seem to fit. I'm long waisted and generally find one-piece suits hard to find. I really don't want to spend much on this suit as I prefer to wear bikinis. However, I feel like I need a one-piece suit for kid pool parties and such. I'm not going to be swimming laps in it, but I do spend time in the water playing with the kids.

I'm not going to model, less for modesty reasons than that it's cold and I don't want to strip to try them on again.

#1 - I thought the cut-outs would be interesting but this somehow accentuates my rectangular shape. I look like a brick with legs in it. Plus it pulls on the shoulders so I think it's slightly too short.

#2 - This is cute and gives me some shape. However, I have to tie the halter fairly tight to keep it up in the right place. I wandered around the house and it doesn't ride up or anything (I don't want a suit that I have to pull the butt down all the time).

Question - do one piece suits get looser the way bikinis do? I always have to retie my bikinis after I get in the water because they loosen up. Will this behave the same way?

What do you think? It doesn't have to be perfect but it does need to fit and be somewhat cute.

Here's links in case my pictures didn't work.
